Hello,
I have Lab View 2025 licensed and installed on my host PC.
I have my cRIO connected from both the USB lan port on 172.22.11.2 and on ethernet adapter port 192.168.140.2
NI Max sees the device and I can ping from my PC (host) to both IP address.
cRIO Linux RTOS image is installed on the cRIO 9066 target.
But when I select Remote System => Troubleshot Remote System Discovery:
It does not list version of labView and only has "not programming with LabView"
What would be the reason for this?
The reason why I am trying to use this troubleshooting application, is that when I use "add remove software" => allow the target to securely access ni.com through this computer using the Ni Webserver..." I get missing feeds messages. See attached screen captures..
there is an inbound rule in MS windows firewall to allow connection to port 9100
I checked Netstat while Ni Max says "starting webserver" and it says : netstat -ano | findstr "9100"
>>
TCP 192.168.140.1:9100 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 26824
The webserver only listens when I run the add remove software from Max.
I can get to the feeds here: https://download.ni.com/#ni-linux-rt/feeds/dist
from my host PC.
Thank You

The cRIO itself must have the internet connection to access the NI feeds. Having internet connection only on the host PC is not sufficient.
If your cRIO cannot connect to internet for security reason, you must download the feed to the host PC. See Installing Software to Offline NI Linux Real-Time Targets
