NI OPC Servers include S7 TCP ?

Hallo all,

We need to monitor some Siemens S7-300 PLCs via OPC + LV DSC Module.
To do this we need to install an OPC Server in order to "expose" the PLC variables to the DSC.

Our PLCs are quite distant each other and we want to connect to them through Ethernet.
Many OPC server vendors give the opportunity to connect directly to S7 Ethernet port without HMI interfaces or Profibus cards.

Some examples are :
Kepware
InSoft
Softing
Matrikon

Do the NI Automation Server give this opportunity ??
In the NI OPC Server list the S7 TCP option is not listed.

Can someone confim this ??

Siamak is right; in particular, the supported Siemens PLC's with TPC interface are:

Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet OPC Server Supported Devices

• Siemens S7-200
  
• Siemens S7-300
  
• Siemens S7-400

Siemens TCP/IP Unsolicited OPC Server Supported Devices

• Simulated S7-300

Yes... after the first post and some more information from NI I bought the new OPC servers from NI.

The new OPC servers (from summer 2007) support Siemens TCP and I can confirm that they work very well.
I use it with LV DSC on a kind of monitoring system for factory utilities and facilities equipment in a photovoltaic cells production site.
The system monitors more than one thousand data tags.
