NI PXI-1045 with MXI-4

I have a PXI-1045 chassis connected via a MXI-4 card to a Windows XP computer.

If I add a PXI card above slot number 12, a second PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge 

driver is automatically (Plug and Play) installed. The first one is working okay.

This second one has error code 12 : this device has not enough free resources.  

Because of this problem all the PXI cards above slot 6 are not visible in MAX,

and therefor unavailable. Does anyone know how to fix this problem ?

I disabled end enabled plug and play, disabled the audio device in BIOS, tried the

MXI-4 card in PCI slot number 1, 2 and 3, all this without any result.

Hi Bartvsc

This could be a problem with the BIOS being unable to handle the resources behind a PCI-PCI Bridge. You could try and update your PC's BIOS which could improve the BIOS algorithms to better handle Nested PCI-PCI Bridges.
