NI PXI Digitizer block diagram and format of stored data in digitizer memory

Hi,

I am using NI PXI digitizer 5152 for  my project work.

I am fatching the data acquired by digitizer using niscopefatchcluster.vi virtual instr.

I want to know wether the cluster output contains digital data or analog data? becaue the output of this vi which is array of sampled data

is much varying even when i give digital voltage at digitizer input. is this the problem of resolution?

Do the digitizer have internal dac?

OR

is the sampled data stored in digital form? or in analog form.

plz solve my question immediately.

it is urgent.

A digitizer has an internal A/D. The driver converts this to floating point number based on the scale, calibration factors, etc.

Define what you mean by 'give digital voltage'. In the test panel in MAX, what do you read when you have the input grounded? What do you read when you have a fixed DC voltage applied? What are you using for the connection (i.e. scope probe)? What is 'much varying'? Is is uv, mv, volts?
