NI Time Synchronization uses permanently 50%CPU

lktsrv.exe (lk TimeSync) uses permanently 50%CPU. I do not use any time synchronisation and this process just waists resources of my machine. I tried to suspend the process, but access was denied. Do I need this process and if not, can I kill it?

This problem solved on its own. It disappeared the same mysterious as it came. Usually I hibernate my computer in order to save time when restarting. This time I installed some other programs and I had to restart the operating system. After that the problem was gone. Probably Time Synchronization got stuck in some way.
