NI USB 9211&student version

Hi,

We bought a NI USB 9211A to read the data from the thermocouple and display it on the chart, Right now we are only having the student version of the Labview 7.1, If we can just display the temperature and read the data from the furnace using the student version, we can convince our manager to get the full version of the Labview 8.2,... We already have a proposal...

So, is it possible to acquire the data from thermocouple using NI USB 9211 using the student Version Labview 7.1.

Instead of buying the student edition, you could have just downloaded the evaluation version of 8.2. You would have had the complete program for 30 days.

In any case, with either the student version or the evaluation version, you need the driver for the DAQ device and that is something called DAQmx. You can download the latest verison from here.
