I'm trying to use and old Ni Daq 6008 to acquire a signal.
I installed an old Labview2010 version on a laptop running Win10 operating system.
When I install labview I also install the 2010 drivers. In this case both the windows system and the ni_max do not "see" the card.
Green light does not blink.
If I try to download newer daqmx versions, both the operasting system and max do see the acquisition card, and the test works, but I'm not able to embed it in a vi, as the "daq assistant" in labview disappears.
The problem is that the same system (I made no conscious change) worked only a couple of months ago.
It works on an other computer with same version of labview and updated daqmx, but runing win8.
Is it an operating system issue? Do I have any chance to have it working?
