NI Update Service encountered an error validating the integrity of one of the selected updates.

The update in question is the LabVIEW2018 SP1 (64-bit).

The error appeared after the 'Verifying' step, and when that failed the downloaded file was quickly removed from c:\ProgramData\National Instruments\update service\Installers.

Running as administrator didn't work.

Any suggestions? Our licences are fine.

Thanks

Hello Graham,

Basically the "Verifying" step calculated a checksum of the downloaded file and checks it against a provided one. In case the file got corrupted during the transfer, this process fails.

You can download (and install) the file manually, e.g. from here: LabVIEW 2018 SP1 (64-bit) - English. The checksum is stated on that page as well (MD5: b528531127bc491d07e17b2068ea8564), in case you want to check it manually.

Is this a suitable solution for you?

I forgot to mention the available patches:

LabVIEW 2018 SP1 (64-bit) f1 Patch
LabVIEW 2018 SP1 (64-bit) f2 Patch

Just in case you want to install them manually, too.
