Hi,
I have created an application that uses serial communication to communicate with a device.
I wanted to deploy the application by making an installer including of course LV RT 8.5 (thats the LV version I use) as well as VISA drivers.
I have been doing that for many months without any problems while today with no apparent reason first build failed and afterwards NI-VISA option just
dissapeared and if properties of a installer that included NI-VISA were entered then an error popped-out (see attachment). New installer just dont have the NI-VISA available (see attachment).
What I have done is:
1. Reinstall VISA drivers - no effect
2. Reinstall DAQmx and VISA drivers - no effect
All above elements have been installed from a local drive not network drive. It is worth noting that Measurment & Automation Explorer sees VISA driver correctly. (see attachment)
Would reinstalling whole LabView help?
