I am using a Standa motor controller stage and using their proprietary software SMCview. The software will require the installation of NI-VISA 4.6.2 driver but the installation failed every time. Then I tried to install the VISA 4.6.2 driver from the NI support page (http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1605/lang/en) but it also failed. Can you tell me what kind of software can create some incompatibility with the VISA driver? I have a Windows Vista home 32bit. I hope the report that I included could help you to find the problem with the installation of the VISA drivers.

I was thinking that was the problem but I unistall everything from the file and the registry. I used REV unistall pro.
