NI VLM -Serial Numbers and Agreement ID's

We have a NI VLM server with a number of Labview 7.1 Full and Professional Licenses. We received 25 licenses for the license server and also 4 CDROMS to install the SW along with 4 serial numbers.
 
We have installed the NI VLM server and we have a license fill with an agreement ID.
 
When we create the network installation using the VLM it asks for a serial number. Which serial number do we use?
 
How do the 4 serial numbers we have received connect to the Agreement ID? 
 
When we goto install the SW on the client machine it comes back with the "Registration Information" again even though I have added the machine to the VLM server.
 
I tried using the specfile.txt (With username, company name and serial number included) when I installed labview on the client, but it still asks for the serial number on the client.
 
Is there a way I can do this automatically with out having to input registration information on each client computer?

This is something you should probably call NI support directly about. I believe they offer free setup/installation support. You'll probably get a faster and better answer from them.

Ditto what Ed said re:calling and getting help.

Please summarize your experience in this thread when you are done so we can help others in the future.

Along with that, the Champions made a very big fuss over the license changes and we were assured that legitimate user will not be hindered by the license req's. So, I am curious about how these issues are fixed in the long run.

Thanks for the replies. I contacted NI support last week, but so far no response. I was hoping the forums would be a quicker method!

Oh well, I will report back when things are sorted.

Dear mbailey

Please could you let me know who you have been speaking within NI UK so that I can chase up your question - have you contacted our support department or was this question passed through sales?  As per the other people who published on this forum NI needs know who you are (contact name and company) to understand which version of LV you have purchased and what the 25 licenses for the VLM are associated with.  We can then cross reference our install base information to tie up the serial number with your order.

Thanks for the response Jo and the follow up phone call.
 
Jo explained to me that when we received the License for the NI VLM we should have received a serial number that goes with the agreement ID. Unfortunately we did not receive this, so hence my questions.
