NI Vision unlicense message

Hi All

I downloaded LV 8.0 , 30 days free trial version to see if I could upgrade my  present VIs from LV 7.0 to 8.0. It does work fine.

Also, I did dowload free 30days trial version for "NI Vision 8.0"  and "NI Vision Acquisition Soft". These are the direct names for the files from NI web page "VDM800" and "VisionAcquisitionSoftware800" respectively and to be exact.

I unzipped and intalled both software but I ran my VIs (my software) and it hangs up. I open one of the VIs and I see this error message on the front panel error cluster:

  Unlicensed copy of NI Vision.

Error=-1074396157

"

The 30 days trial is not over yet. I just did the downloading today.

Can anyone tell me what is going on? and how to fix it.

Hi Togos -

I have some questions to help fill in my understanding of the situation:

1. Do any of your other Vision functions work properly?
2. Does the function work properly if you place a new copy of it on a fresh block diagram?  (Not using one of your LV 7.1 VIs)

Now , you have mentioned it.

 I went to Vision assistance to use these failing functions and vision assistance is telling me, my free trial period has expired. My guess is that since I just inherit this PC a week ago may be the owner before me downloaded a free trial version already...? If this is the case . Is there a way to go around for a new user??

Update;

I just received LV 8 & NI Vision package in the mail (UPS) and I installed in my machine.

Everything is working fine.
