NI8451 pinout reprogramming

Hello.

Two question:

1. Im working with NI8451 using I2C channel. I meed to setup second (separate) channel. Cannot find in manual if the device and capable of programming different pins to such matter?!

2. Is there a dadicated PWM pins or can I set it myself? (And which one?)

Hi alexela,

If you take a look at the 8451 manual, you can read a bit more about the I2C wiring and control flow in the introductory section.

There is a diagram that discusses wiring and connecting multiple devices (clearer if you've read the introduction, but simple enough even without) on page 3-10, figure 3-6.

It shows that although the 8451 only has two pins for I2C, that is because you only need 2 pins for multiple devices.
