NIHWDBDD.dll cant find

Hi

I had to reinstall Measurement & Automation to version 4.03.3003 and now then
I try to load a project from LabVIEW version 8.0 I get the following error

“Nimxsoffine.exe – unable to locate component”
“This application has failed to start because NIHWDBDD.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.”

I have reinstalled the MAX software and I still have the same problem.
One note that if I click on the OK button 12 times the Project Explorer comes up and
the project is all there and runs without a problem.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Hi, jamesz.

Let me ask you a few questions:

What OS are you using?
What version of DAQmx and Traditional DAQ?
Have you recently installed an older version of DAQ?
How are you opening the project? Are you double-clicking on a file, selecting File>>Open, or doing something else?
What NI hardware do you have installed?

Let me know! Have a nice evening.

Thanks but I deleated the LabVIEw instulation  LanVIEW, MAX, all drivers and associated programs
(this morning) and I have reloaded it.

The system now finds the missing DLL and runs

Thank You

Hi, jamesz.

I'm glad you were able to get it working. I suspected you might have had a corrupt installation, but due to the lengthy uninstall and reinstall, I wanted to find out more before recommending you spend a sizable chunk of your evening on it. Sorry I didn't help, but I'm glad you're up and running. Have a nice afternoon!
