NIMax error

I keep getting NIMax errors. This error started all of a sudden. What is an mdm file and why can I not copy it? It does not seem to affect my program but it is a nuisance.

That's part of my problem. I get errors and NIMax claims it prepares an error report but I cannot find the files. It seems to pop up when a user is first logging into the network from the LV system. The error messages are is as follows:

First window: NIMAx.exe encountered a problem and needed to close. This error occurred on (date/time) For more info click here

Clicked (2nd window): error signature szAppName: NIMax.exe szAppVer: 3.1.0.3021 szModName: msvcrt.dll click here

Clicked (3rd window): The following files will be included in this error report:

C:\DOCUME~1 ... NIMax.exe.mdmp

C:\DOCUME~1 ... appcompat.txt

I have looked for the error files but cannot find them.

Hi Paul,

What hardware do you have, and what NI Drivers to you have installed?  If you have any drivers that are not the most recent version, you can download them here.  You might just want to uninstall MAX and any associated drivers, and then re-install, making sure to install the most recent versions.

Thanks. Reinstalling NIMax seemed to solve the problem.

I have a same throuble. I installed new version of NIMax 9.. I am using VI logger 2.0.1. when I clicked VI logger tasks,  program does not response. How I can solve this problem?

Can you have just digged a very old thread. Did repairing/reinstalling solve this?

I was pull out datas as a text file via VI logger lite 2.0.1 in this morning. Then I interrupted and I slept my laptop. . VI logger were running when I opened to laptop again. But when I clicked any recorded datas, NI max does not respond. I uninstall and install a new version of NI max 9. But I couldnt sove this problem.
