NIPALK problem

Hi!
I recently installed LabView 8 and now I can't get my computer to boot. I
have WinXP Pro SP2. When I try to boot up, I end up watching Windows
Screen. My Even Viewer says

The nibffrk service depends on the NIPALK service which failed to start
because of the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.

And it has a few of messages like this. Help please.

Hi,

Are you able to boot the computer at all or is it that only LabVIEW is giving problems when loading up? Also were you able to get LabVIEW to load a few times before this started happening?
