Have you recently upgraded the version of Simulation Interface Toolkit that you are using? If you are used to using an earlier version than 2.0 I can understand why you would be used to seeing these functions but as part of the upgrade in 2.0 they have been replaced. Check out this knowledgebase article that discusses why this happened.
