NSV URL formating

I have found that the Get Shared Variable List vi will sometimes return NSV URL that contain single quotes such as

\\.\process\'tank_pressure' and for other processes the single quotes will be missing.  What causes the difference?

Is there a pattern to the context of the variable's name?

I have seen in the past that path's containing spaces will have names in quotes such as: \\. \process\'Shared Variable1'

Is this a function that is impeding your application?
