Hi,

I am currently trying to integrate the Piezo NV 40/1CL from piezosystems Jena into a LabView program.

Jena does provide a vi for this. However the vi doens't quite do what I want it to do. It only allows me to control the Piezo via a reference to a rotary knob.

What I want is to pass a value to this programm.

Unfortunatly the vi by Jena does not seem to directly read the value of the rotary knob. It rather reacts to the act of turning it. So just setting the value of the knob wont do.

Did anyone experience a similar situation before and knows how to solve it?

Or just has any Idea?

Hi,

just now managed to figure out how it works.

Don't know wether it is a very good or elegant method, but it does what it should.

So if anyone got a better solution, I'll be glad if you post it. For everyone who runs into the same problem I attach my solution.
