NXT Software Universal Binary?

This is probably a backwards way of getting at this, through this forum, but does anyone know when a universal binary of NI's Lego Mindstorms NXT software will be release for Mac OS X? Under PPC architecture, a software translation layer called Rosetta does not allow access to Bluetooth. So the current PPC-complied version of the NXT software does not support Bluetooth under OS X on Intel Macs.

Dear Sanford,

Currently Lego handles all NXT questions. I just went to their website and there is a FAQ on Bluetooth. It specifies what the current limitations are. It would be best if you post your question on their website. Here is a link.
Hope that helps!

Kalin,

Thanks. I was trying the shotgun approach, posting to several different forums, because the concrete delivery date information on the Web was sparse. I realized that NXT-G and LabVIEW are distinct, but I didn't realize just how distinct, that the average LabVIEW forum regular would be almost as likely to have detailed information on the cultivation of rare orchids as he would the Mac OS X version of NXT-G.

I was, by the way, merely curious and not so much complaining. NXT-G is a great solution for its purpose, and any time a major computer hardware and OS designer changes processor platforms, not everything is going to work right away. On top of that, I do even have a PPC-based Powerbook with Bluetooth for trying out the Bluetooth feature. I really appreciate your replying to my message even thought it was out of place, off-topic, and had crept out of the list of recent posts.

Best.
