National Instruments PCI-DIO-96 Digital I/O Board for sale
Hi Everyone,
After a recent clean-up of my cupboards, I found a National Instruments PCI-DIO-96 Digital I/O Board which I am more than happy to part with (it was going to be part of a personal home automation project that just didn't get the funding!) I have never used this board - I took it out of the bag, but never got to plug it in...
The PCI-DIO-96 is a 96-bit parallel digital I/O PCI board with 96 lines (5 V/TTL) static I/O in 8-bit ports, 2-wire handshake capability, known power-up state (can be very useful!), and unidirectional & bidirectional I/O. This board uses four 24-bit programmable peripheral interfaces (PPIs). You can divide each PPI into three 8-bit ports. The PCI-DIO-96 is flexible for
interfacing to peripherals or other computers. The board can operate in either a unidirectional or bidirectional mode and handshake with peripheral equipment. NI usually retails this card for $US295.
