Hello,
I need help with using LabVIEW to control a delay stage our group had recently purchased, link found here.
The OS on our computer is Windows 7 32 bit and our version of LabVIEW is 2016, we originally used LabVIEW 2011 but had to upgrade to 2016 for the new stage. After doing so I was able to create a vi that allowed me to control the stage however I wanted. Unfortunately, since we had to update LabVIEW, our NI-DAQmx drivers were no longer compatible with our LabVIEW and also had to be updated. I installed NI-DAQmx 19.0 since that version was compatible our OS, LabVIEW version, and DAQ devices (PCIe-6320 and PCI-6052E), and now the vi I had created for the stage crashes. It seems that the sub-vis no longer communicate with the stage.
In the process of installing NI-DAQmx 19.0, I had to update the .NET framework from v4.6.1 to v4.6.2 (which I had difficulty doing so I installed v4.8 instead since the driver should be compatible with that .NET framework version). I suspect the updated .NET framework may be to blame since the sub-vis communicate to the stage through the .NET framework, but I'm not certain how to best troubleshoot the issue. I'm considering uninstalling any .Net framework versions past 4.6.2, but I have no idea if that will resolve the issue.
To summarize:
I was able to create a vi that could control the Newport DL225 stage.
I needed to update our old NI-DAQmx driver to version 19.0 and in the process of installing the new driver, upgraded the .Net framework to v4.8.
The vi I had created no longer works.
Lastly, when I close LabVIEW a message appears stating "nislcp.exe has stopped working." I have no idea if this is also related to the vi not working.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance in fixing this, because I am rather out of my depth with this sort of thing. Thank you.

Devices and Modules No Longer Supported in NI-DAQmx - NI
NI 60xxE (see last supported readme for full list) | NI-DAQmx 19.0 |
I would uninstall DAQmx and install 18.x
