Need help for LV7.1 + DSC; getting variables from TCP/IP VI into DSC module??

A PLC is connected over TCP/IP with the PC where a LabVIEW application runs. The many variables should be managed over the DSC module, the problem is now that I haven´t got any OPC server or something to connect the tags!

So, how is it possible to get the variables into the DSC modul!?

The DSC stuff is a little obscure for me.....................

What type of protocol are you using to talk to the plc?? There are vi's that will talk modbus to tcp devices directly in labview.
