Need help using UDP protocol

I have a device (K-Patents process meter)that uses UDP to be able to communicate with it.  However I never used this protocol before.  The measure query that I am interested in requires sending a Request Id and Request data (sensor dependent).  I have attached the vi I have started and pasted images from the manual in the block diagram.  Some assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

you don't need help with "UDP protocol", but with simple datatype conversions/typecasting:
