Need triangular button controls up/down, left/right -- got 'em?

Square and round buttons -- so simple labview 6.1 has them. But what about generalized shapes? Do I really need to make a custom button for left/right and up/down triangular arrow buttons? These things are part of so many of the other controls, why aren't they available as stand-alone button controls?

Anyone gone through the trouble of making up/down, left/right buttons and can send them or point me to them?

thanks

In an older version of the OpenG toolkit, there were several custom boolean contols including a set of directional buttons.

The new version seems to leave these out, but I have attached all the custom boolean controls from the older versions.

Just unzip and you can add the menu files to your controls pallet so you have easy access to them.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

Hi,

Restarting an old topic: I downloaded those boolean buttons posted by Ed, but they aren't very pretty to look at... for example:

Does anyone have any that look a little more flashy? Maybe an arrow-shaped or triangle-shaped button instead of a square button with an arrow on it.

Cheers!

Well, that was 14 years ago. 😮

You can customize buttons by importing any graphics you like. Have you tried?

Ooh! That's a bit of fun!

Made them look a lot nicer now 🙂

Have you looked at the Silver Palette (available for 7-8 years)?  It has Up, Down, Right, Left arrows (not quite triangles, but ...).
