New to active X, why does this not work

I am trying to develop an application that launches the Windows media player to play a wave file. When I use the attached vi and select the wave file, everything looks good in the container but no luck getting to play.

Any ideas?

The wave file that I am trying to load is 90Mb. I just did a 30Mb wave file and it worked fine. Suggestions, anything I can do to make more robust?

Which version of media player do you have? LabVIEW (6.1, 7.0, and 7.1) doesn't work with media player 9.0.
