No Word or Excel selection in report generation toolkit

I've uninstalled/repaired the Report Generation Toolkit that I received with 8.2 Toolkit disks. I still don't have the selection of Word or Excel with the New Report.vi.  All I get is Standard Report or HTML. Some magic I'm missing?

I get Excel/Word as selections when I create a control (Enum) to the Report Type input in the version of the toolkit included with the 8.2 Devel Suite.

Hello Paul G.,

Do you have Excel or Word installed?  If you do not have the applications required for the report installed on your computer it would definately not show up in the enumerated list.  During the installation of the package it should have alerted you if it did not recognize that Word or Excel was installed.

I had this problem because I had a previous version of the toolkit installed.  I uninstalled both versions of the toolkit, and then reinstalled the newest, and it worked.

Will this not affect my older programs written in 7.1? I still need to be able to maintain them. And many of them use toolkit vi's.
