'No device found' to another computer[ WLS-9215]

I have a configuration for the wireless and ethernet connection from WLS-9215 to my computor. Now, I'd like to connect it to my lab computer, but I can not get the connection. the message " No device found" is shown even I use only ethernet connection with static or automatic IP.

Does it connect to only one computer? How to connect it to another computer?

Thanks in advance.

I mean the device is not detected by 'MAX'.

Hi pluckor,

Please correct me if I am wrong but it sounds like you have two different systems where one detects the 9215 and other does not.  I have a few questions for you to clarify the problem that you are having.

1. Do both computers have DAQmx version 8.8 or greater?

2. It sounds like you are connecting the 9215 straight to the computer through ethernet.  I would be very patient when hooking this up as it could take a minute for the proper communication to be established.

3. Do both computers have the same operating systems, drivers, etc?

4. Try reseting the wireless carrier to the factory default mode and trying this detection again.  The reset button is located on the back of the module and you must hold it down for more than 5 seconds (hold it for 10 seconds to be safe)

To answer your questions, though, our wireless devices should be able to work with any number of computers.  If you configure the wireless carrier on one computer, you should still be able to attach it to another and detect it.  Hope this helps!
