I got the same "Class Conflict" Error. Unfortunately the answer provided in this thread does not seem to address the issue. In my case, simply right click on the "Static VI Reference" and change it to "Strictly Typed VI Reference".
It is pretty dumb that none the help document mentioned it. Maybe it is just so trivial. 😞
