OCR is reserach level or not

Hi..I am planning to work on optical character recognition projcet using labview and my project should be a research level project..Could any one suggest whether it is a research level project or not ....I would appreciate if you can suggest any research level projects related to electronics or dsp

Hey,

Take a look at our Configuring an Optical Character Recognition System with National Instruments Products article. If you think you cold put together an OCR System and then "Research" something using it, then yes. You can choose what you research, I would think that OCR systems would be the tool in which you perform your research. More advice, speak with professor, they typically know what will be constituted as a research project for your class.
