I'm trying to make a little program in which the input is a Power Spectral Density (PSD) signal (as waveform or in another format, that's not an issue) and the output is a time-domain signal that satisfies the input PSD.
In other words, I'm trying to make a synthesis of a time history to satisfy a power spectral density. I know that this signal would have some randomness, as there can be infinite time-domain signals that can satisfy with a given PSD. Is there any VI that makes this in the Sound and Vibration Toolkit or in any other toolkit?
Alternatively, if there is not a single VI that does this but a labview code that does this already exists, I will highly appreciate it.
