I'm trying to use the External Hardware Triggering fct of USB2000+. My setup involves a PCI-6602 card w/ BNC-2121 box to create the TTL pulse for triggering the spectrometer.
The setup has already been working under WinXP / LabVIEW 7.1 / traditional DAQ / OmniDriverSPAM drivers.
I wanted to update to Win7 / LabVIEW 2011 / DAQmx using the NI driver package "Ocean Optics 2000 4000".
The example VIs run perfectly, but as soon as I'm trying to use the external hardware triggering function, the "Read Spectra.vi" times out in the "VISA Read". I suppose, that there's nothing to read - even though I've tried to send a TTL pulse to the spec to start the Integration Time.
