Omega DaqBook/112 or DaqBook/216

My PC will not detect my Omega Daqbook/112 and /216 even after I install thecustom LABView drivers from the Omega site? Does anybody have any experience with Omega products and LABView???

Have you installed the Windows drivers? Just like the LabVIEW DAQ functions require NI-DAQ to be installed, the Omega LabVIEW drivers almost certainly require some low level device driver to be installed.

Yeah, I went to the Omega ftp site and I downloaded DaqBook Drivers for LABView which look to me like example VIs that they created. Installation is not straight forward, though, and you have to direct the setup software to a specific location where the files will be dumped else the example VI will report them as missing.
Currently, the VI starts up but there are some subVi's missing. I think I deleted them by mistake and I might have to uninstall and then re-install LABView.
I guess Omega products and NI software are best buddies. Keep any advice coming though.

I didn't mean the LabVIEW drivers. I meant the Windows drivers. The Omega site has both and the Windows drivers should be installed first and configured per the instructions from Omega. If the Windows driver can't communicate with the board, then you'll never get the LabVIEW drivers to work. I've never used this particular model but I'll bet they have a call to some Omega DLL in there.

I installed DAQView which is the software that Omega supplies with their hardware. The software (DAQView) communicates with the hardware and I was able to succesfully run the test that comes with the DAQ Configuration software from Omega.
I am about to re-install LABView and then see what happens afterwards. I'll post my progress up here and if you happen to know anything that might be of help, please post it up. Thanks.
