On screen keyboard for touchscreen

I have a Labview application with a high resolution (1280x 1024) touchscreen under Win2K.
I am looking for an an on-screen keyboard (alpha and numeric) similar to windows's osk.exe. So far I have found some solutions, but I am not alltogether happy with them.

- OSK.EXE has, with my resolution, rather small buttons.

- All VI's that I have found are used to return a string (or number) into the calling VI for further processing.

I am looking for a solution, that plugs into the normal system keyboard chain and is universal for all entries (e.g. also the file dialog)
