^ Sorry, my problem was not solved.
Can anyone pls tell me how to run labview exe remotely on WIN XP?

XP certainly provides the capability to launch remote executables. The problem is that all the instructions in the previously-referenced article will have changed. XP is not configured in the same way and the application builder in V5.1 is significantly different from what we have now.

Hi Parag,
No issues, I guess you might find the following link useful:
How Do I Launch a LabVIEW Executable Remotely using ActiveX/DCOM?
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/38787589F325412186256DE100671A8E?OpenDocument
DCOM stands for Distributed Component Object Model. It is an extension of COM (communications standard on which ActiveX is based), which allows COM objects to communicate over a network.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Cheers!!

Danged straight it hasn't been successful! The information is all out of date. It refers to an old operating system and gives example VIs in a version of LV nobody can open because its so old.

I am not sure I fully understand what you are intending to do but...
I gather you need to launch a Labview compiled EXE file on a remote computer, not just have Labview launch another EXE?
I had a simmilar situation last summer where I had a test system in a remote facility on the east coast that I needed to control it from the west coast.
I would recomend a remote desktop program like TightVNC this will give you complete control of the remote PC just as if you were sitting in front of it. Also you can transfer files to and from the remote PC, which is handy to upgrade your software if bugs or new features need to be fixed or added.
