Operating a Waveform Chart Backwards and Forwards

I want to acquire data to a waveform chart. I want to be able to reverse the direction of my acquisition so as to overwrite the data that I have just acquired when needed and then go back forward - and so on. Does anybody know how I might be able to accomplish this or know of an example that may already do this? Thanks

Please elaborate on EXACTLY what you are trying to do. Give examples as appropriate. I'm not exactly sure what you want to do. Your question is a bit confusing.

Thanks

You can't do that with a waveform chart but you can do it with a waveform graph. See attached example.

Excellent answer! The example supplied was almost exactly what I was looking for! I just need to figure out how to make the graph display like the chart I have been using. I am still making my waveform charts plot data and look like the old-style INK and PAPER charts from the old days (scrolling flat line and "spike" when there is an event) - the graph operates differently at this point but I feel certain that it can be altered. Thanks a lot Ray!!!!
