I have two suggestions that I haven't tried but should work:
1. You can set the compatibility mode for you're LabVIEW application to
Windows 98/Me. Do this by right clicking on you're LabVIEW shortcut and
select properties. Click on the Compatibility tab. Turn "Run this program
in compatibility mode for:" on and set it to Windows 98/ Windows Me. The
next time you load LabVIEW you should be able to use the Port I/O vis
without getting an error.
2. Download the Port IO VIs for NT and Windows 2000. You should be able to
find the somewhere at www.ni.com.
