PCI 6024 E

I would like to work on a project for my university , it consists of data adquisistion with a PCI6024E, and I am not  sure about what kind of programs to use. I am thinking of using Labview but I've heard that measurement studio is better.. What do you think ??? what do you recomend me ???

Please I need your help , I need to develop an excellent project so I need to work whit the best tools.

I would recomend that you use the tool that you are the most familiar with. Whether you use LabVIEW or measurement studio, you will be interfacing to the same hardware with the same low level driver (DAQmx or traditional DAQ). If you are an inexperienced programmer of either, then I think LabVIEW can be learned much quicker. There are a lot of built-in functions in LabVIEW that make most tasks simpler to create. Maybe if you could provide some details on what type of project you are planning, a better recomendation could be given.

Thanks for your help . Let me tell you that I am working with Labview . My project consist of a single control loop . I have to control  the level in a tank , the problem is that I don't have Labview Real time . Could you give me some advices to implement this control whitout having Real TIme, but making this control the most real time possible .

The first thing would be to keep your code to the bare minimal and avoid all possible overheads.

Even keeping front panel updates at teh minimum will improve your vi's performance
