PCI6024E :can I use separately DAC0 and DAC1?

I would like to use separately both DAC outputs- with different buffer sizes and update rates. I've read In Daq-STC manual that it has sencondary update group. Can I use this feature in LabView? Can I find some example for this case? Thanks.

Hi,

NI-DAQ, the driver software for the 6024E, does not support separate analog output groups. The data must be generated from the same buffer and at the same update rate. However, you can create waveforms of different frequencies by manipulating the data buffer to have different cycles of each waveform. For example, you can create two sine waves. One sinewave with 10 cycles over 1000 points, and one with 1 cycle over 1000 points. The frequencies of both waveforms will appear to be 10 Hz and 1 Hz, respectively.

Thanks,
Erin
