We have developed an application to output stereo sound in PDA but all what we got was mono sound .Can anybody tell me how I can go about this???
I am using LV 8.0.1 and PDA module 8.0.1.

Ohiofudu,

i modified your application a little bit.
I run tests with several mono and stereo .wav files and it works.
It is possible to take influence on volume (right channel) and the application shows information about the wav file.

The left channel has no functionality, because my PocketPC has not the possibility to change the balance between left and rigtht, i think.

Ohiofudu,
I write rather in the discussion forum than by email, because maybe other users are also interested in it!
You wrote an email to Dirk that it doesn't work with your PDAs (ACER n50 and  Fujitsu-Siemens PocktLoox 720).
We haven't knowledge about problems with the sound driver and it works with an HP iPAQ. Therefore, it is probably an audio driver or soundcard problem.

Have you another PDA for testing?
What happens, if you change the position of the SO Start and SO Vol VI?

In the attachement you will find two more audio files for testing...

ThSa

Thsa,

I am out of our lab now so I can not test your audio files. When I get back I will test them sometimes next week.I think it is the Audio Driver problem the DLL
not too sure...I will do just as you said "change the position of the SO start and SO vol VIs".
Like I said I will get back to you here in the forum after testing your audio files.
