PID control of heating element feedback

Solved!

@nitad,

Hi,

you are saying that I should not keep temperature gradient constant; means that, heat the sample and don't care the temperature gradient between two ends of the sample.

or you are saying that I don't need to go step by step stopping in some steps; means that, just heat the sample up to specific temperature which I need, measure gradient which can be grater that 5-10-15K.

you need to apply power gradually to one end of the sample and measure continously the dV and dT, when the gradient reaches the value you want (5-10 K) stop heating and measure again while it decreases..

you can get one or few hunderth points that you plot as dV versus dT, and the slope of this is S

Hi Nitad,

one of your responses you wrote

2. make T1-x and T2+x where x is a function of time (from -3 to +3 for instance)

so I confisued how to do that, here for examples, x is a function of time, how to do that!!. There is also response time, near room temperature heater can reach desired temperature at x time but at high temperature stabilization will take much time!!..

hi

this thread is marked as solved so not many people are reading it. For your visa error :

you use the same address twice, you need to configure one after the another the Lakeshore parameters.

For the gradient :

Apply output power as function of time (for instance : Power*Sin(actual_time/total_time) ), the gradient will increase slowly you measure dT and dV.. but all this is explained in the papers I made several times suggestions you need to read

hi,

Thank you so much for your advices and I appriciate. Yes you are repeating:).. and the problem is not labview you said.Of course I need to know how to measure but the real problem is labview, even if I know something about measruement I need to do those thing via labview, so I don't know labview enough. Thats why I am asking any example which I can configure my vi. So you are advising me how to measure, but I don't know how to put this things to labview...

What you send as paper I have read, thank you again. I don't have any person to ask ar take help from near me. I have to do everthnig by myself...If you don't have advisor who can help you...

I hope I could explain myself...

Best..

make a state machine and make small vi's everything doing an action

i can send you a vi doing a seebeck measurement but without understanding the actions you can not modify so you can make no progress

kimse,

The PID.vi is part of a toolkit called PID and Fuzzy Logic Toolkit.  Please refer to the following link for more information on this toolkit.
