PID (gain schedule).vi in PID toolkit

in PID (gain schedule).vi, there is a subVi call :auto/maual.vi, in the description of this vi, it said that it can auto to manual transfer and manual to auto transfer. But when I look its diagram, I think they did nothing: it did nothing for transfer from manual to auto, Also when transfer from auto to manual, it seem that the output is always the value from auto, no matter what value you put it in manual

Does anybody get a chance of looking its diagram/
thanks for help

This migth not be in the scope of this group but...:

When just changing from auto to manual nothing happens (bumpless transfer),
this is because you do not normally want the admission to bump when changing
mode from auto to manual (such a quick bump might tear on your process
equipement).

But after changing mode you can manually adjust the output admission by
changing the manual value. Note that since an offset is calculated to avoid
bumps, the same offset value will be the least admission wou can have. This
can be avoided by using negative ma
nual values.
