PSG 83752B AND NETWORK SCALAR 8757D PASSTHR

Hi,

       Im having problem with passthru ... i send comand to the sweeper using the adress 17 of HP IB bus of 8757D , using the command PT19 (passthru 19) , the adress of sweeper.

I  set the sweeper 83752B to response to SCPI commands, using SYST:LANG "SCPI" , and it does correct ..and appear the msg in network scalar DATA PASSTHROUGH EXECUTING ..and i can set up the sweeper how i want......... no problem till here ..

But when i put the command PT16 to return to network analyser , it doesnt respond .. and sweeper's talk led turn on .......What can i do to pass control do network analyser again and it response to the set up of sweeper correctly ?

It seems to me this is a hardware issue  and from what I see you are using products that are made by Aglient and not National Instruments.

I recomend you contact Aglient to answer your questions.
