PXIe 4480 noise

I'm using NI 4480 PXIe module to measure voltage signal at a sampling frequency of 1MSPS generated by piezopatch due to mechanical vibration in the structural system. Resistance of piezo patch is approx 3.5 Mohm. I'm getting a very high idle sensor noise of order +-0.7 v. However when I connect the sensor to pc sound card such noises disappears and very clean signal of mechanical vibration is recorded. Why NI 4480 is not able record the clean signal.

The 4480 has a significantly higher input impedance (among lots of other differences).

Refer to the appropriate section of https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/pxie-4480-4481-features/resource/376368a.pdf to see supported terminal configurations. Which terminal configurations have you tried? Can you share your wiring diagram?

As you debug your system, what is the noise floor of your 4480 channel terminated? what is the noise floor of your 4480 channel open?
