PXIe-5641R is not detectable

Dear All

I have a problem detecting my PXIe-5641R card , i can see in under RIO devices in MAX , but when i try searching for Targets and devices in the LabVIEW project explorer i can't find any device under all categories

Please advice , is there any configuration required to make the card seen in the project explorer or add it there ?

It might be helpful if you posted some information on what versions you are using?

LabVIEW version

MAX version

DAQmx version

RIO driver version

LabVIEW Ver 2009

MAX 4.6.2

DAQmx i think 8.x , currently i'm out of office

RIO 3.2 (I've downloaded the latest from ni.com)

but when i open a 5641R example on LabVIEW 8.6.1 it works fine , also i face some difficulties locating the vis related to RFSA, RFSG, 5640R , modulation toolkit vis , so i usulayy copy and past these folds from the LabVIEW 8.6 folder

Hello Mohammed,

If this is working in 8.6 (as well as the other drivers you mentioned) but not in 2009, I am wondering if you reinstalled the drivers after installing LabVIEW 2009.  Anytime you add a new application development environment (including new versions of LabVIEW), you will have to reinstall the drivers that environment is going to use so that it has all of the libraries properly linked for use.  Also, make sure you have LV FPGA 2009 installed for this.  Hope this helps!
