Are you setting the data values inside the Enum control before converting to array?  If so, how?

If you are setting Enum =2, you cannot edit the values column when you edit items.

What I uploaded was a snippet.  It's a "magical" png that changes into code when you drop it on a block diagram.  (It contains meta-code that I assume is scripting and it recreates the code it was snipped from.)

Save the file locally, then drop it onto an open block diagram (preferably an empty one).

Then you can see exactly what I did.  let me know if you have issues doing that.  🙂
