Palm Tungsten C emulator

Has anyone been sucessful get the emulator to work with a Tungsten C or T3. The shipping emulator does not work and the downloads and I have not been sucessful with the downloads from Palm. Was it a mistake going with the Palm operating system instead of the pocket PC?

Hi eh,
You have to have a ROM image of a device to simulate on your computer before you can use the emulator. Refer to the LabVIEW PDA Module Release Notes for more information.
There is a section entitled "Transferring a ROM Image from a Palm OS Device to the Host Computer".

Are you using a USB port? If so, you'll download your .prc file just like you would download any other application on your Palm. The Download Application option in LabVIEW will only work with serial ports.

I was able to load programs using hotlink. The problem is I am using OS 5, which is not supported by the emulator that is shipped. I did download the simulator from palm and after playing with it, I was eventually able to run my program on the simulator. Thanks.
