I had a personal meeting with webu007 today.

The problem with not understanding Ben's VI beside the German version was the fact, that he uses LV 8.0/8.2. In this versions the oldstyle Set/Get Ctrl Value methods using Typedescription and String are availble to select for the method. At this point he didn't know which primitve to use to convert any LV type to typedescriptor and string.
