Pick out empty strings from an array

We are very new on LabVIEW so we think that was an unnecessary comments before from Cyril :-(... and we don´t understand what Gerd meant with the suggestion that we should change the tunnel to a shiftregister. We now have tunnel with indexing enable. Should one drag that to a build array after the while-loop or in the while-loop?

Oh so THAT is how you meant 🙂 We did not get how to do with the build array-vi before. We thougt that one just could drag the array in to it! We are so greatful and could not be more happier 🙂 It was just a chance because your nick looks like a Swedish name. Once again, thank you!

Now we have to ask another simple (for you) question. How to initiate an string-array to the shiftregister?? We tried here and we comes as far as to the array-constant but we don´t get how to initiate and that it is a stringarray :-(. Thanks again 🙂

2 fast answers:
1) as I did in my example: place an empty string in an array constant
2) use "initialize array"-function and wire a string constant and a number to it (number can be zero)
