PocketPC run-time menu separator

Robert,

I was finally able to track down a smartphone and moved my EXE over to it and was able to reproduce that error.  I will go ahead and file a report to R&D about this issue.  I might suggest using a space instead of the menu separator if you are concerned about the letters as a workaround.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thank you!  I thought I was going crazy!  How do you use a space as a separator?

Robert,

I thought that this would be more straightforward but I was wrong.  I tested manually configuring a seperator to be just a space " ", but the module assigned it a (A) as well when I tested it.  So it looks like when the module is creating the menu it is looking for text that it can use in case the shortcut keys are being used (the underscore under the F in File, etc) and since there isn't any it is added.  In any case I will add this information to the report as well.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi All:

This run-time menu separator is still present in PDA V8.2  Can we agree this as a bug and get a CAR#?

Thanks
Robert

Robert,

Sorry for the delay.  This was reported to R&D (# 42Q8HHGI) for further investigation.  Thanks for checking this in 8.2.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Andy F.
